Today AFLAC decided they were going to deny my wife’s disability claim because their agent made a mistake at the time of application. Instead, they want to pretend the contract was never signed and just return the premiums paid. Um, that’s not how contracts work, even for talking ducks.
We’ll see about this, but its not going to go away quietly.

Why I love 88.9 Radio Milwaukee
I love Radio Milwaukee because, in addition to the cool music, they have some awesome people working there. When we sent in our recent donation, we mentioned that our 2-year old tells people we live in “Radio Milwaukee”. They sent a producer to our house to interview my wife and son for a promo.

Baby at last
We’re now a family of four. After 28 hours of labor, my wife delivered our second son without any drugs or medications. She could be the poster child for why the men don’t have the babies.
How 'bout a baby today?
Well, it looks like today might be the day. My wife woke up with a “this might be labor” expression. We’re going to wait a little bit, unlike the first kid, when we did the traditional first-time parents rush to the hospital.
I’m not planning to live blog this or anything, but if she has another 22 hour labor, I suppose anything is possible.

We’re expecting son #2 any day now. You’d think that, having been through this once before, I’d be somewhat calm and not anxious about labor. Especially considering I’m not the one giving birth.
We’re all ready, bags packed, friends lined up to take son #1 when it’s time, but I can’t shake this anxiety. At least my wife is relaxed.
